Ownership of Intellectual Property in the Small Business Strategy Course: 

By attending this course and agreeing to the Non-Disclosure and Confidentiality Agreement within the Online Student Application form.  By signing this form, all Students acknowledge that all intellectual property and related materials, including any trade secrets, moral rights, goodwill, relevant registrations or applications for registration, and rights in any patent, copyright, trademark, trade dress, industrial design, and trade name (the “Intellectual Property”) that is developed or produced by the Company under this Agreement will be the sole property of the Company. The Participant will be responsible for the management and security of his/her own intellectual property in relation to his or her presentation, curriculum, training, seminar, and/or materials. All materials received in this course shall not be duplicated or shared unlawfully without the written consent of the owners.

Data Retention

This website will retain your information on our servers for up to five (5) years. If you wish to have your account removed, please navigate to your profile page and choose "delete account" or send an email to info@alstntec-smallbusiness.com with the subject line: Cancel Subscription. It may take up to 24-48 hours for your account to be removed.

This website is hosted by a 3rd party that maintains its own backup and restore methods and maintains backups of all data for use in recovering from a catastrophic failure. These backups are maintained in a secure location unknown to us. Therefore, data that is directly stored on our website will be held until it is requested to be removed. This website does not guarantee that our or our hosting company backups will function error-free. This website cannot restore data from a backup on request. For these reasons, you are responsible for maintaining your own backups of your data, by using our data export tools.

Online self-study Course: A refund less a 10% administrative fee is allowed for any online self-study courses that have not yet started.  Once the course has started, there are no refunds and the course will be made available to the student for that time period.

​

10-Week Small Business Course (instructor-led): Students are entitled to a refund less a 15% administrative fee prior to the second week of class. No refunds will be granted if the student attends two or more sessions.

Our website's content is for the sole purpose of educating and mentoring our clients. All content shared on our site are created by us and is considered as a propriety platform. This includes videos, handouts, training guides, mentoring sessions, special events, flyers, brochures, and photos used on our site.  Any materials posted on the site that is now owned by us have acquired the proper permissions from the owner.
