Military, Cybersecurity, and Small Business Government Contracting

government contractingEverett Browning is the Vice President of Mentoring for the 100 Black Men of Prince George’s County, Inc., and serve as Senior Vice-President for a veteran-owned minority business which provides program and financial oversight to Department of Defense and Intelligence Community agencies.

​As a retired U.S Navy Chief Petty Officer, and Combat Veteran and expert in the military, cybersecurity efforts, and small business government contracting.  Everett continues to dedicate his life and fight to protect the freedoms and rights of others. Currently, he has over 25 years of strategic and tactical Department of Defense Intelligence Operations experience; specializing in a dynamic background in Cryptologic Analysis, Program Management, Risk Assessment, Acquisition and Finance, and Training Development. Also as a Public Servant and community activist, Everett have led collaborative efforts with politicians, business leaders, educators, and community leaders to develop a robust veteran outreach and family mentoring program focused on health & wellness, economic empowerment, and education. Everett has also served in several positions where he could leverage his technical and military background. Primary roles include serving as the Senior Strategic/Risk Assessment/Program Oversight Manager – Office of National Intelligence; and within the United States Navy – Cryptologic Technician Chief Petty Officer until his retirement.

In addition to his many accomplishments, Everett continue his efforts through paying it forward back to the community as a Community Activist/Public Servant. Key tasks of his involvement consist of guiding, developing and implementing the 100 Black Men of Prince George’s County Saturday Leadership Academy hosted at Bowie State University for socio-economically disadvantaged minority youths and families.

He is also involved collaborating with the Spaulding Library to facilitate “Boys Read” program focused on raising literacy rate of young males, serving as Co-Chairman of 100 Way Golf initiative.  Coordinated with First-Tee program, Enterprise and Marlton Golf Course to provide unique golf training to minority youths; and focusing on ensuring fiduciary responsibility of taxes raised in Prince George’s County by spearheaded a mentoring program that raised over $100,000 annually in donor support.  Other endeavors include Veteran job training and placement and other initiatives that is geared towards the education of adults and youth.
