Anne Alston, Founder and Chief Executive Officer

Anne’s extensive background comes with the precision of providing Career Transition, Professional Development, Mentoring, and Empowerment Services.

Anne’s consulting experience began as the owner of A & M Creations in 1997 operating as a desktop publisher and business strategist. The company’s motto was “Serving the Needs of Small Businesses.” Not only did she support small businesses, she also served the needs of individuals who aspired to become entrepreneurs or needed career guidance. The company name changed to ALSTNTEC to reflect the new type of services offered.

Over the years, Anne expanded her consulting expertise to the field of career transition and preparation, mentoring, and empowerment. Her endeavors would later embark on a new journey to change and enhance lives through her personal coaching sessions, empowerment speeches, and learning publications. Her primary mission is to bring awareness of the importance of career preparation to your overall personal and professional life. Her successes in this effort has led to a number of great partnerships along the way, which have yielded her opportunities to present her Career Transition Workshop and Empowerment Speeches to a number of organizations and events that work directly with the local community, educational institutions, and private/non-profit organizations.

As an activist for adult/youth education and small business supporter, Anne actively participates as a workshop presenter Prince George’s County Public Schools, the Maryland Future Business Leaders Association, and the Maryland Roundtable for Education STEMnet program. She is also a Mentor with the University of Maryland University College (UMUC), and recently received the UMUC Alumni Achiever Award for her dedicated service to UMUC students and faculty.

She is also the creator of the Business Men and Women of Color Podcast, a yearly, online network platform designed to foster the talents of small business owners, speakers, authors, and future entrepreneurs. With this platform she has engaged approximately 91 participants from around the world. She is also the creator of the BMWOC online magazine.

Michael B. Alston, Co-Founder and Chief Operating Officer

Michael brings to the table 20 years of logistical experience.  He understands the importance of using education to improve business processes and meet strategic goals. Through his dedication and commitment,  Michael works to successfully to oversee and implement several key projects to ensure the success of the workshops and events and tasks that directly affected the bottom line. As a result, the organization is able to benefit from his efforts through new structures, policies and organizational balance.  Michael’s vision is to simplify any situation via his mantra “finding the problem, working the problem and resolving the problem”.

Michael J. Williams, Graphic Artist and Video Editor

MIchael has a flare for animation and art. His specialization in japanese and traditional animation and video compilation expertise can brings life your vision.  Michael enjoys using his skills of creating artwork and video compilation  to help others in the community.  Michael is currently pursuing a Associate of Applied Science degree in Graphic Art and Animation at the Prince George’s Community College.

Artis M. Alston, Photographer and Video Editor 

Artis currently a student at Fairmount Heights High School where is actively engaging in Information Technology and Video Production. He also has a wealth of writing skills and loves to write short stories. Artis’ vision is advice in video production by attending Bowie State University to obtain a degree in video production.
